Since 1954 when the Parkes Leagues Club was a small “tin Shed” the Club has always maintained a “community focus” and has contributed millions of dollars in donations and sponsorship to the local community.
The Club now “a two story brick building” still proudly donates more than $25000 each year to the local community and surrounding areas.
As the largest function centre in Parkes, the club hosts many functions from small meetings of 5 people to concerts and evetns holding up to 600 people. The club has the facilities to cater for all types of events from Meetings, Conferences, Trade Shows, Presentation Nights, Concerts, Charity Events and much more.
Each year Parkes comes alive when the town hosts the Parkes Elvis Festival. More then 8000 people flock to Parkes to enjoy the Elvis festivities. The club is the main venue in town as it provides non-stop FREE entertainment all day, every day during the festival, but also host the main feature concert for the festival.
This year Mark Andrew (Elvis) will be returning to perform 4 “show stopping” performances in the club’s auditorium. Performing to more than 2000 “Elvis Fans” Mark’s shows have proven why he is one of the countries best Elvis impersonators
